一场漫无目的的自发式创作。这是我送给自己四十不惑的一份礼物，一直拖拖拉拉延误至此。作为一个做事情非常没有目的性的人，做了好多年音乐却没有想到要出自己的个人唱片，不是没有做只是没有想给谁听。五年前给自己许了个愿，希望在四十岁之前完成一张自己的唱片。当时没有考虑那么多细节，只是想把音乐做完，没想到一路下来竟然连后期缩混也自己干上了，不管是时间、金钱还是海量的知识摄入都远远超出了我的预期。我没有设定过任何目标，没有明确过要何时完成，要做成何种风格，以及要用到何种乐器。不会软件，学！不会弹钢琴，学！不会打鼓现学，不会混音制作，还是现学！总之要学什么就看我遇到了什么问题。但去年春天完成时我觉得特别幸福，这个过程让我学会了太多东西。专辑封面我也决定用一张我自己拍的照片，这样它就是一个完整的“我”了。没有任何人的任何礼物可以比自己送自己的礼物与自己为自己兑现的承诺更令人满足。A Day without Time，时间缺席的那一天，它属于一个人的无人打扰的世界（可以有猫）。——Lumi刘敏
