BURNING LIGHTS这张EP是我在波士顿时候的创作。Burning Lights 是指许多汽车的头灯，当你在夜晚直视這灯光時，它特別明亮，彷彿在你眼里“燃烧”。这首歌是在说有些人在生活中遇到一點點困難時的人生態度，有时候你被這麼小的问题困擾並担心烦恼時，那會很容易疏忽周遭一切,让自己置身在一个很糟糕的情况下，就像心不在焉失神走在馬路上,冒着被许多行驶中车辆撞上的危险中。而人即将被通过的汽车撞上，经历了”人生回顾“的现象，看到他们曾拥有一个美好的人生，会发现其时生命仍然是很美丽的。写这首歌的灵感是来自于一个在波士顿的夜晚，我和朋友走在街上，看到一个喝醉的女孩子差点被车撞上，我就伸手去拉她，因为她喝的很醉，无法自己回家，我就陪她坐在路边的椅子上聊天。她说她和朋友去看球赛时吵架，她就负气跑去喝酒，就喝醉了。这也是我写这首歌的灵感来源。
